About Helen M. Horton
I currently works for a small software development company 
in Connecticut offering visual support through creating website designs, website interface application designs, help file editing, marketing materials(handouts, postcards, advertisements) and taking digital pictures of items to be listed on eBay. I have been with this company for over 3 years.
I have always been a visual person by nature, learning through hands on; by viewing the source code of websites that interest me, I was able to create websites with little to no formal education in Website Design. In the last year and a half I have been taking online classes through the HTML Writers Guild; Dreamweaver, Intro to HTML, HTML level 2, Web Design, Intro to CSS and Intermediate CSS
I hold several degrees (Dean College, Fashion Institute of Technology, Charter Oak State College) in visuals arts and recently acquired a certificate from the HTML Writers Guild in Web Techonolgies. I am forever trying to acquire more knowledge and skills for this ever-changing industry and I am plannning to recieve the other certificates from the HTML Writers Guild: Web Business, Web Programming, Web Graphics and Multimedia. I also hope to earn a Masters Degress either in Graphic Arts or Mutlimedia to help we reach my goal of being a Creative Art Director.
